The goods

Non-prescription optical frames, ready-to-wear reading spectacles, blue-light filtering eyewear, and protective optical accessories intended for daily visual comfort and glare reduction. Product pages describe what is included, the quantity and the form. Photos are illustrative; packaging may differ slightly.

Ordering and contract

An order is placed when you complete checkout. We confirm it by email; the contract is formed when we dispatch the goods. We may refuse an order when stock runs out or the details cannot be verified, and we refund any payment in that case.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before payment. Accepted methods: Cash on delivery, Bank transfer. We may correct an obvious pricing error before dispatch and offer you to confirm or cancel.

Delivery options, timeframes and costs are set out on the Delivery & Payment page. Risk passes to you when the goods are handed over.

Product images and colours

Product photos are taken of the goods we ship. Colours on your screen depend on its calibration, the browser and the light in the room; a small difference in shade is not a defect and is not a ground for a free return or compensation. Dimensions, materials and contents are stated on each product page.

Transfer of risk

The goods are our responsibility until the courier hands them to you or to the person you named at the address you gave. From that moment the risk of loss or damage passes to you. Visible transport damage should be noted with the courier and reported to us within 48 hours.

Returns and warranty

You may return goods within 30 days of delivery as described on the Returns page. In accordance with the United Kingdom Consumer Rights Act 2015, all optical goods carry statutory protection guaranteeing that items are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory structural and optical quality for a period of up to six months from receipt.

• Eyewear fitted with custom-ground prescription lenses manufactured strictly to bespoke personal optical measurements.
• Opened optical hygiene care items, including lens cleaning sprays and microfibre sanitizing solutions with broken seals.
• Customized, laser-engraved, or personally tailored optical frames.
• Spectacles that have undergone third-party lens replacement, frame heating, or bridge adjustments post-delivery.
• Consumable optical accessories that have been inseparably mixed with other goods after handover.

Liability

The total statutory liability of Clarivue Optics Ltd for any claim arising from order fulfillment shall not exceed the total purchase price paid for the specific order or £100, whichever amount is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Age and use

You must be at least 18 to place an order. Products are to be used as described on the label; they are not a substitute for medical advice.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking to us, it goes to the competent court of the seller's registered address, without prejudice to consumer rights in your country of residence.
